Lydling Farm

Lydling Farm

West Surrey

Nestled in the Surrey Hills near Shackleford, Lydling Farm is a traditional mixed arable and livestock farm run by the Stovold family, whose roots in the area stretch back generations. The farm is home to the Rosemead herd of pure Aberdeen Angus cattle, extensively grazed on unfertilised, unsprayed water meadows in summer and fed home-grown maize silage in winter, producing beef that is dressed by an award-winning Q Guild Master Butcher. Beyond farming, Lydling is known for its commitment to conservation, from pond restoration to sustainable grazing practices, and offers a function room in the heart of Shackleford along with access to its fields for outdoor events, making it as much a working part of the Surrey Hills landscape as a place to visit
